A Long Island native, Erika grew up in an artistic Uruguayan household on the island. Her father, a composer and pianist, and her mother, a devoted crafter, Erika was consistently surrounded by an eclectic creativity. Erika pursued her dreams at New York University, where she studied art, theatre, and music. Although a classically trained actress, Erika always kept her painter's spirit alive by taking figure drawing classes and post graduate classes at The Art Students League of New York. I currently reside in the Hudson Valley with my husband, my two children, and two cats! My husband Dan is a also a Live Event Painter. Check out his work as well. www.capturedoncanvas.us
